Concessionaire: Agra Waste Water Management Private Limited (AWWMPL) is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) established to act as the Concessionaire, to design, finance, renovate/build, operate and maintain multiple sewage treatment plants (STPs) and its associated infrastructure in the city of Agra, Uttar-Pradesh (UP). The STPs are being developed through a hybrid annuity model (HAM) under the 'Namami Gange programme' on a Public Private Partnership (PPP) basis.
AWWMPL a subsidiary of M/s. Vishvaraj Environment Private Limited, India and & Vishvaraj Infrastructure Limited (VIL)-JV has won the bid for development Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) along with Associated Infrastructure for a period of 15 years through Hybrid Annuity Based Public Private Partnership (PPP) Mode in Agra, Uttar Pradesh under the Namami Gange Programme and entered into a concession agreement (CA) with NMCG and Jal Nigam on August 25, 2022 and effective date awarded as 5th April 2023.
